The most memorable, if notorious, publicity campaign named ‘Vicious & Aggressive’ by the V&A was devised by Saatchi & Saatchi in 1988. It featured the slogan 'An ace caff with quite a nice museum attached'.
The campaign’s objective was to appeal to a younger audience in a way that confronted preconceived notions of V&A and highlighted that the museum was also the first in the world to have a public restaurant.
